The latest Bachelor has a fiancé — but could his son soon have a sibling or two?
Jason Mesnick, the first single dad in Bachelor history, has said he met the woman he plans to marry on the latest edition of the show, which premieres Monday, Jan. 5, on ABC.
The network announced the contestants Wednesday, and in another first for the show, they include four single moms. Two have daughters, one has a son, and one has a son and a daughter.
ABC promises fierce competition in the very first episode. Raquel, a 27-year-old Brazilian medical student, tries to lure Mesnick, 32, into a seductive samba. Molly, a 24-year-old "girl next door" (at least if you live next door to her in Grand Rapids, Mich.), cuts in for a slow jazz dance.
Then things get serious as Stephanie, a widowed mother of a 4-year-old girl, tells Jason about her tragic past.
What do you think? Are you hoping The Bachelor will take some cues from The Brady Bunch?
