BABY NEWS

ABC's World News Tonight, already in the process of filling the void left by the injured Bob Woodruff, will find itself sans its other coanchor, Elizabeth Vargas, this summer. The veteran newswoman is pregnant with her and husband Marc Cohn's second child together, the couple announced Friday, and is due to deliver in late summer. "During such a difficult time for all of us, it's good to get such wonderful, life-affirming news," ABC News president David Westin said in a statement. OK, at this point I think ABC may have to resort to promoting Invasion's Larkin. What, she's pregnant, too? Argh.
