Two Very Familiar Faces Appear in Arrow's Season 8 Premiere Photos

It really is the beginning of the end!

Arrow Season 8 is nearly upon us, and now we finally have our first photos from the final season. It really is the beginning of the end!

In addition to some stellar photos of Team Arrow doing their thing, we also officially have our first peek at two cameos that we simply cannot wait for. Both Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell) and Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson) can be seen chatting with the team in what appears to be the original Queen mansion. Could this really be? Considering both of these characters died very early on in the series, it's a little surprising that Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his crew would be chatting it up with them (especially on a set the show hasn't used in years), which means something hinky is definitely afoot.

Right now, there are about three major possibilities as to what's going on here. Either this is a dream or vision of some kind for Oliver (much like Tommy's appearance last year), we're dealing with Earth 2 (or whatever alternate Earth you want really) versions of these same characters, or Oliver really did find some way to bring the dead back to life. That last option is probably a little unlikely, but we can't really argue that this is a flashback either since Rene (Rick Gonzalez) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) are there.

We'll just have to wait for the premiere to find out which guess is right! Click on the gallery below to see all the images from Arrow's Season 8 premiere.
