Laurel's transformation to Black Canary on Arrow is complete. The CW has released the first image of Laurel (Katie Cassidy) as her alter-ego. Check it out below.

Arrow boss on Olicity's future and when Laurel will go full-on Black Canary

Laurel's journey to becoming the Black Canary was set in motion in this season's premiere, when her sister Sara (Caity Lotz) was murdered and Laurel began training with Ted Grant (a.k.a. Wildcat). As to why she had to bleach her hair to match Sara's, we may never know. 

"I think people who love Laurel's character and love the idea of her being more active in fighting crime than just being a district attorney will be really happy this year," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told TVGuide.com last month.
