Celebrity Apprentice will be back - with a new host.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading to the boardroom in 2016 as the new face of NBC's reality competition, the network announced Monday. He'll replace Donald Trump, who was dropped by NBC after his comments regarding Mexican immigrants.

"We are thrilled to be opening a powerful new chapter in the story of the 'Apprentice' franchise," Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative and late night programming, said in a statement. "Arnold Schwarzenegger is the epitome of a global brand in entertainment and business, and his accomplishments in the political arena speak for themselves. It was Arnold's personal passion for the format that Mark Burnett and Donald Trump built over the last decade, as well as his fresh take on how to take it to new heights for today's audiences, that made him the man to hire."

In addition to his starring roles in movies including the Terminator franchise, Schwarzenegger served two terms as the governor of California. In recent years, he has focused his efforts on clean energy initiatives and has established the nonprofit organization R20: Regions of Climate Action, as well as the USC Schwarzenegger Institute for State and Global Policy.
