As first reported by TVLine.com, Virginia is described as a snobbish, racist and self-absorbed mom, though she actually has a heart underneath that hardened veneer.

Potts, who recently starred on ABC's GCB, will appear during the first season of the freshman comedy, which sneak-previewed its first episode during the London Olympics. The series makes its regular timeslot debut on Wednesday at 8/7c on NBC.
