Anne Hathaway Goes Full 8 Mile While Rap-Battling James Corden

James Corden is nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready

James Corden's quest to find the next successful musical format has begun. On Tuesday's Late Late Show, the host introduced a new segment called "Drop the Mic," where he and a guest engage in an 8 Mile-style rap battle. The first installment features Anne Hathaway spitting hot fire. It also gives bandleader Reggie Watts an opportunity to put his superhuman beat box skills to good use (not as good as he's capable of, but he also needs to leave room for them to rap, you know?).

It gets pretty aggressive, with Corden dissing Hathaway for her infamous appearance hosting the Oscars and saying "the only Catwoman I acknowledge is Halle Berry" and Hathaway roasting Corden for his weight and lack of fame ("I looked you up on IMDb, it said 'nothing good'").

Hathaway winning is obviously the correct choice, right? She only got one shot and did not miss her chance to blow.
