Tennis Star Andy Murray Is Engaged

Tennis pro Andy Murray is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Kim Sears, the BBC reports.

Currently ranked No. 6 in the world, the 27-year-old British champ has been dating Sears, 26, since 2005. They met at the U.S. Open that year, according to the BBC.

Murray is believed to have popped the question last week, but has not commented publicly about the engagement. Earlier this year, Murray joked during a Q&A session that he planned to get married after Wimbledon.
