British soul singer and tabloid regular
Amy Winehouse has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a video of the star allegedly smoking crack cocaine was handed over to police.
Winehouse's rep told the BBC that the 24-year-old singer is being questioned at an East London police station, and her U.S. spokesperson told People that Winehouse " voluntarily attended" the meeting and "is cooperating fully with inquiries."
Winehouse decided to "go, go, go" to rehab for a stint when the tape in question first surfaced in January. Her arrest comes just days after her music producer Mark Ronson denied reports that Winehouse would perform the theme song to the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, because she "was not ready to record any music."
