VIDEO: GMA's Amy Robach Completes Chemotherapy

Good Morning America co-host Amy Robach announced on Friday's broadcast that she has completed chemotherapy six months after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

"I join the ranks of 2.8 million U.S. women who are breast cancer survivors and I plan on living each day to the fullest thankful and grateful," Roach, 41, said in a video taped during her eighth and final chemo treatment on Thursday. "You can kick cancer's butt."

Robach was diagnosed after she underwent a routine mammogram live on the air as part of a segment on women's health in October. She then underwent a double mastectomy and 20 weeks of chemotherapy. She contributed to GMA throughout her treatment and was recently promoted to a full-time position as the morning show's new news reader.
