Amy Poehler Returns to Saturday Night Live

Amy Poehler, who left Saturday Night Live last season to headline her own NBC sitcom, will return to the show in the fall.

Well, yes, but it's not exactly what you think. Parks and Recreation fans, don't panic. Thus far, Poehler is only confirmed to reunite with former co-anchor Seth Meyers on two episodes of SNL's Weekend Update Thursdays in the fall. Hey, whaddyaknow, said episodes (Sept. 17 and 24, 8/7c, NBC) coincide with — and precede — the return of Parks and Rec at 8:30/7:30c.

Weekend Update Thursday runs for an additional four episodes, but it appears that they'll be Poehler-less. Hmmm, 30 Rock returns on Oct. 15 — perhaps they'll be Fey-full?
