Melrose Place star Amy Locane-Bovenizer has been convicted of vehicular homicide stemming from a fatal car crash in 2010, according to The Associated Press.

In June 2010, Locane-Bovenizer hit Fred and Helene Seeman as they were pulling into their Montgomery, N.J. driveway. Mrs. Seeman was pronounced dead at the scene, while her husband was seriously injured. Officers reported smelling alcohol on Locane-Bovenizer's breath and she was arrested shortly after.

Melrose Place actress Amy Locane pleads not guilty in fatal car crash

The 40-year-old actress, who was acquitted of aggravated manslaughter, faces up to 10 years in prison in addition to another three to five years for a second count of assault by auto. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 1. She is currently in jail following the conviction.

Locane-Bovenizer played Sandy Louise Harling on the first season of Melrose Place. Her other credits include the films Cry-Baby, Airheads and School Ties. She was credited as Amy Locane before she married Mark Bovenizer.
