American Idolfinales are always kitchen sink showcases for featuring has-beens, who's-beens, a few actual stars and lots of cutaways to the judges happily lip syncing along. But one of the benefits of having Keith Urban as a judge is that we're also blessed with lots of awkward cutaways to Nicole Kidman now too.

American Idol finale: Watch Nick and Clark's final performances

But while our eyes scanned the crowd for that elusive Kidman cameo or as we marveled at how damn fantastic J.Lo looks at all times, there was only one thing on our mind: Who won?

And after two hours of Pitbull, Fall Out Boy, Ricky Martin, Steven Tyler and more Pitbull, we finally have our answer. The Season 14 winner of American Idol is...

Nick Fradiani!

And thank God! Even Clark fans should be cheering at this news, since the poor boy could barely make it through his potential single "Champion" on Tuesday night. Now, Clark will never have to sing a pop-rock anthem again, and Nick can continue to only sing pop-rock anthems for the rest of his life. If that isn't a win-win, I don't know what is.
