American Crime Season 2 Will Tackle Sexual Identity

Season 2 of ABC's series American Crimewill examine issues of sexual identity and socioeconomic inequality against the backdrop of two Midwestern high schools, one public and one private.

The plot follows high school student Taylor Blaine (Connor Jessup), who accuses two basketball players at an elite private high school (Trevor Jackson and Joey Pollari) of drugging and assaulting him after lewd pictures of him are posted on social media following a party. The scandal divides the community, and leads to racial and class tensions.

Season 1 stars Timothy Hutton and Felicity Huffman will return as the head coach of the basketball team and the school's headmistress, respectively.

American Crime Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 10/9c on ABC. Will you watch?
