Amanda Bynes has moved out of her New York City apartment after her landlord threatened to evict her, TMZ reports. The troubled actress is now living in a hotel.

The building's management company sent Bynes a formal letter calling her a "nuisance," according to the report. The company reportedly told Bynes that her neighbors reported smelling marijuana wafting from her unit around the clock, and had also seen Bynes smoking marijuana in the hallway. (Her apartment is in a non-smoking building.)

Rather than fight the company's decision, Bynes decided to move out of the building, according to TMZ.

She's currently staying in a hotel in downtown Manhattan, and her parents are staying in the room next to her because they're "afraid for her," Us Weekly reports.
