Over the past few months, Amanda Bynes has been very open about her body image issues, and now the actress has revealed why.
"I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin," Bynes wrote.

Amanda Bynes, Jose Canseco and the other most bizarre celebrity tweeters

This isn't the first time Bynes has made disturbing statements about her weight. In February, Bynes told Us Weekly, "I lost 4 lbs. since I moved. I'm 121 lbs — my goal is 100 lbs." For the 5'8" actress, 100 lbs. is dangerously underweight (the recommended weight range is between 125 to165 lbs.). Bynes also posted a photo of herself in March, in which she called herself "pudgy."Bynes' eating disorder admission comes after the star announced her plan to sue "certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I've gained weight then write a fake story!"

But it seems Bynes is more troubled by the media's photo choices than by their writing. "They write a news article about every tweet I write, and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo," she continued, adding, "Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me."Bynes then decided to fight back against the "bad" photo choices, writing: "I'm putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on. I ask you to choose photos from my twitter so I'll do the same," something the actress has followed through on at least once.
