Alias' Kevin Weisman Joins NBC's Upcoming Awake

Former Alias star Kevin Weisman is heading to NBC's new drama Awake, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Weisman will play a mysterious character named Mr. Blonde, opposite Jason Isaacs' Detective Britton. The series tells the story of Britton, who, after a car accident, lives in two very different realities: one where his wife died in the accident but his son survived, and the other where his son died but his wife lived.

ER  alum Laura Innes joins Awake

Weisman's recurring character will appear in both realities and will have crucial information about the car accident that changed Britton's life.

While he's best known for playing Marshall Flinkman on Alias, Weisman has also appeared on episodes of CSI and Fringe.Awake is executive-produced by Lone Star's Kyle Killen and 24's Howard Gordon. NBC has yet to schedule a premiere date for the series.
