Alexis Bellino Officially Leaving Real Housewives of Orange County

Say goodbye to "Jesus Jugs." Alexis Bellino is leaving Real Housewives of Orange County, People reports.
"After three seasons of appearing on the The Real Housewives of Orange County, I have made the difficult decision not to return for season 8," Bellino tells the magazine in a statement. "Although Bravo made me a very generous offer and I'm thankful to have had this experience, I will be leaving the show behind to focus on my family and other opportunities."
Her decision to depart the Bravo series might be partially prompted by the verbal attacks she suffered at the hand of co-star Tamra Barney last season.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County is a reality show that is meant to entertain and engage audiences with the lives of its cast members," the reality star and her husband Jim Bellino told US Weeklyafter Barney notoriously called Bellino "Jesus Jugs" during the Season 7 reunion special. "This vicious and malicious attack on our family will no longer be tolerated. We have continually tried to take the high road, however, if necessary, we are prepared to defend ourselves against these unfounded, slanderous and defamatory remarks to the fullest extent of the law."Drama aside, Bellino says she has no regrets about her involvement with the reality show."I am so grateful to have gone through this amazing journey and to have met so many incredible fans," her statement continues.
