Alexa Ray Joel "Feeling Much Better" Following Hospitalization

Alexa Ray Joel is "feeling much better" one day after checking out of the hospital.

"She is with her family and looking foward to getting back on track," her publicist said in a statement.

Billy Joel: My daughter will recover

Alexa, 23, is staying with her father, Billy Joel, according to the Associated Press. The singer-pianist also released a statement Monday saying, "I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support."

The only daughter of Billy and Christie Brinkley, Alexa was rushed to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan Saturday after taking several pills, the news agency reports. Billy told Newsday Sunday he was confident his daughter would be fine.
