Dr. Paul Nassif, husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar Adrienne Maloof, has filed for divorce, TMZ reports.
Nassif took to Twitter Tuesday to confirm their split and discuss another recent loss. "Adrienne and I tried very hard to make our marriage work. A difficult time," he wrote. "Sadly, lost my dad yesterday, a man who taught me how to be a man."
Real Housewives' Adrienne Maloof "trying to work things out" with husband
Nassif, who has also appeared on E!'s Dr. 90210, first filed for separation from Maloof in July. Days after the news broke, Maloof sounded optimistic about a possible reconciliation. "We're at that point where it's that bump in the road, [but] we're trying to work things out," she told People earlier this month.
In his petition for divorce, Nassif cites "irreconcilable differences" and asks for joint custody of their three children: Gavin and twins Colin and Christian.
Maloof and Nassif, known for their constant -- but cute! -- bickering on the Bravo reality show, married in 2002. This is the third divorce for a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member since the show started in 2010. During filming for Season 1, Camille Grammer split from her husband, TV star Kelsey Grammer. Last year during production for Season 2, Taylor Armstrong filed for divorce from her husband, Russell, a month before he committed suicide last August.
