Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Still Alive at ABC

ABC is once again moving forward with an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off. The network is close to ordering a pilot for a potential series about Adrianne Palicki's character Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. Mockingbird, Varietyreports.

The drama, titled Marvel's Most Wanted, will star both Palicki and Nick Blood, who plays Bobbi's ex-husband Lance Hunter. ABC had been developing a spin-off about Bobbi and Hunter earlier this year, but ultimately decided to scrap the project since the characters helped S.H.I.E.L.D. hit its creative stride.

Agent May might leave S.H.I.E.L.D.

S.H.I.E.L.D. producers Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski co-created Marvel's Most Wanted and will co-write the pilot. They will act as showrunners and executive producers alongside Marvel's Jeph Loeb.

If ordered to series, Marvel's Most Wanted would be the third Marvel show on ABC, joining S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter. A mystery Marvel show from John Ridley is also in the works.
