Adam Sandler Tops Forbes' Most Overpaid Actors List
Talk about a backhanded compliment. Adam Sander has been named the most overpaid actor of 2013 by Forbes. Though Sandler still commands a fat paycheck, most of his recent films have been Razzie fodder and box office duds. The magazine estimates that for every dollar Sandler received on his last three films, which include Jack & Jill and That's My Boy, the movies returned an average of $3.40. However, there are exceptions when Sandler's price tag pays off, as is the case with Grown Ups 2, one of Sandler's best performing films, which was not counted toward this year's ranking because of its later release date.

Katherine Heigl came in second place with movies you've probably already forgotten about: Killers and One for the Money. Movies starring once alleged rom-com queen only returned an average of $3.50 for every dollar Heigl was paid.
Reese Witherspoon came in third place, averaging a $3.90 return. Making his debut on the list is Kevin James, who ranked fifth. Though James was one of Forbes' Best Actors for the Buck last year, thanks to the failure of Here Comes the Boom, he's found himself with only a $6.10 return.
Also making his first appearance on the list is Steve Carell, who came in seventh with an average of $10.
