George Strait Wins Entertainer of the Year at ACM Awards

George Strait was the big winner at Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, taking home the prize for fan-voted Entertainer of the Year. After beating out Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert and the show's co-hosts Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, 61-year-old Strait said, "Wow... I always said I had the best fans in the world and I heard this was a fan-voted thing, so I rest my case ... This is so amazing. This has been an amazing past 30 years." Strait last won the award in 1990.

Also taking home trophies were Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, who won Male and Female Vocalist of the Year, respectively. Other highlights included a duet between husband and wife Tim McGraw and Faith Hilla performance from Lady Antebellum and Stevie Nicks and Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan singing their hit "How We Roll."
