Viewers will get an extra hour of bachelorhood this season — ABC says The Bachelor's three-hour conclusion is dramatic enough to merit an extra hour-long special the night after it airs.
"The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Part 2" will air at 10 pm/ET on Tuesday, March 3, the night after the show's 13th season finale and the one-hour "After the Final Rose, Part 1."
Judging from the show's ratings, the best in years, audiences can handle an extra hour of Jason Mesnick, the single father trying to choose between Jillian, Molly, and Melissa, the three remaining contestants.
DeAnna Pappas, who rejected Jason on The Bachelorette, fits in there somehow too. Previews have shown her visiting Jason in New Zealand, the setting for the two remaining episodes, to say she's made a mistake. Clever editing, or is she hoping for a second chance?
ABC says the next episode will feature Jillian and Molly revealing their true feelings to Jason, and Jason expressing doubts about Melissa. Each of the ladies gets an invitation to Jason's "fantasy suite," two get roses, and one goes home in tears.
What do you think is the source of this season's drama?
