Dating in the Dark, the reality series that follows couples meeting in the — you guessed it — dark, has been renewed by ABC, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Dating will kick off its second season this summer with an initial six-episode order. In Dating's first season, the show averaged 5.3 million viewers in the Monday at 10/9c timeslot, then 4.7 million in the Monday at 9/8c timeslot previously filled by The Bachelorette. It eventually became summer's No. 1 new TV series in 18-49 demographic.
