ABC Casts Colt Prattes to Lead Dirty Dancing Remake

Baby won't be in the corner much longer! Colt Prattes has landed the role of Johnny in the Lionsgate and ABC Dirty Dancing remake, TVGuide.com has learned.

Prattes will take on the iconic part made famous by Patrick Swayze in the 1987 original film. He'll be teaching Abigail Breslin's Baby how to let loose on the dance floor.

The Goldbergs will pay tribute to Dirty Dancing

While it remains to be seen if Prattes can pull off Swayze's signature brood for the performance, he looks more than capable of pulling off the big lift in the final dance routine. Prattes has a professional dance background and performed on P!nk's "The Truth About Love Tour" before starring in the singer's "Try" music video.

If he can toss P!nk in the air like that, there's no doubt that he can handle the Dirty Dancing choreography. Check out the video below.
