Brandt, who just signed on for a recurring role on Showtime's period drama Masters of Sex, will play Leslie Holbrooke, who's been ostracized from the family after her husband left her for their father's trophy wife stepmother after squandering the club's finances, leaving the club flat broke. She's left alone with her 11 year-old son, Evan, her legal consulting practice, and her husband's crazy, wealthy family. Irreverent and funny, she's not above seeing the humor in her situation. She doesn't play sports or drink, hates the sun, and is way too outspoken to ever fit in at the Club.

Brandt most recently starred on NBC's Michael J. Fox Show, which has yet to air its final seven episodes from Season 1 after being pulled from NBC's schedule in February. Her other previous credits include Parenthood, Private Practice and Body of Proof.

Grant will executive-produce the drama, from CBS Television Studios and ABC Studios, with Sarah Timberman & Carl Beverly (Elementary). The Club, which also stars Callie Hernandez and Chris Conroy, was given a straight-to-series 13-episode order.
