The father of the musical group The 5 Browns pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually abusing three of his daughters when they were minors, People reports.
Keith Scott Brown was charged last week with abusing his daughters Desirae, 32, Deondra, 30, and Melody, 26, all members of the Juilliard-trained quintet.
In an agreement with prosecutors, Brown, 55, pleaded guilty to sodomy on a child under 14, and two charges of sex abuse of a child. All three charges are felonies.
Court documents filed on Feb. 10 claim that the abuse started in November of 1990 through October 1992, November 1990 to November 1992 and March 1997 through March 1998 in Utah County.
Brown faces 10 years to life in prison and will be sentenced on March 31.
Before Brown pleaded guilty, the group posted a statement on their website, thanking their fans "for their concern and prayers on our behalf during this trying time."
