30 Rock: Tracy Morgan Cameos as Tracy Jordan
Ever have a moment when you're watching 30 Rock and you think: Is Tracy Morgan acting in this scene or did they just leave the camera running when he was hanging out in his dressing room? You're not alone! The producers of 30 Rock are capitalizing on this art-imitates-life quality of the Tracy Jordan character — they've both worn court-mandated ankle bracelets, for example — by using unaltered footage of a 2007 Morgan interview with Chicago's WGN and passing it off as a Jordan appearance. The interview, which we will charitably call "spirited" (watch and judge for yourself), includes at least one Obama shout-out, two scenes of Morgan removing his shirt and one offer to impregnate the co-anchor. The footage will appear as part of the April 23 episode of 30 Rock.
