30 Rock Star Tracy Morgan Gives Us a Good Scare

You can bet that some folks will be trippin' when Tracy Morgan takes over as the host of Scare Tactics, a Punk'd meets Friday the 13th reality show premiering Wednesday at 10 pm/ET, on Sci Fi Channel. The 30 Rock star gave us a sneak peek. - G.J. Donnelly

TV Guide: Why indulge in Scare Tactics?
Tracy Morgan: It's fun. It's a great opportunity to do my best Rod Serling impression! It's spooky stuff. It's just like Crank Yankers. I don't know what to expect, but I know it's going to be frightening!

TV Guide: What scares you?
Morgan: Poverty, hunger... all the real stuff. Coming from the ghetto, you're not scared of much.

TV Guide: What else are you doing?
Morgan: I'm filming a movie called Nailed, with Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal. To work around these people raises my game.

TV Guide: Have you ever met anyone like 30 Rock's Tracy Jordan?
Morgan: Not really... not anybody that unstable. He's a figment of my
Imagination.... He's lovable, but he's crazy.

TV Guide: Has anyone offered to make a real film called Honky Grandma Be Trippin'?
Morgan: [ Laughs] Nobody's approached me about it, [but] I would love to do it! Great title.
