30 Rock and Mad Men have won the love of Emmy voters, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and now their peers: The quirky comedy and advertising drama continued their streaks Thursday morning with three Screen Actors Guild nominations each.
Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey will look to defend their SAG crowns in the male and female comedy categories, while the Rock cast looks for its first comedy ensemble statuette. The cast will face off against those of The Office, Desperate Housewives, Entourage and Weeds.
Baldwin's rivals in his category are Steve Carell (The Office), David Duchovny (Californication), Jeremy Piven (Entourage) and Tony Shalhoub (Monk). Fey faces 2007 winner America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), Christina Applegate (Samantha Who?), Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) and Tracy Ullman (Tracy Ullman's State of the Union).
Mad Men's cast earned a nomination for drama ensemble, Jon Hamm for best actor, and Elisabeth Moss for best actress. With last year's drama winner -- The Sopranos -- out for good, the ensemble category is wide open for Men, Boston Legal, Dexter, House and The Closer.
Legal matched Rock and Men with three nominations -- but it can only win two because both William Shatner and James Spader are in the running for drama actor. Dexter's Michael C. Hall and Hugh Laurie (House) round out the nominees.
Moss finds herself against Sallly Field (Brothers & Sisters), Holly Hunter (Saving Grace), Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) and Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer).
Just like at the Globes, Kiefer Sutherland snuck into TV movie/miniseries actor for 24: Redemption, alongside Ralph Fiennes (Bernard and Doris), Kevin Spacey (Recount), and John Adams' Paul Giamatti and Tom Wilkinson. The TV movie/miniserise actress race features Laura Dern (Recount), Laura Linney (John Adams), Shirley MacLaine (Coco Chanel), Phylicia Rashad (A Raisin in the Sun) and Susan Sarandon (Bernard and Doris).
In the film races, Doubt nabbed a leading five nominations for ensemble cast, lead actress (Meryl Streep), supporting actor (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and supporting actress (Amy Adams and Viola Davis).
The cast will face off against those of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk and Slumdog Millionaire.
Brad Pitt, who turned 45 Thursday, got a nice birthday treat: a lead actor nomination for Button. His other half, Angelina Jolie, was recognized in the lead actress category for Changeling.
Pitt's competition includes Richard Jenkins (The Visitor), Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon), Sean Penn (Milk) and Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler). In addition to Streep, Jolie is up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Melissa Leo (Frozen River) and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road). Winslet is also nominated in supporting actress for The Reader against Adams, Davis, Button's Taraji P. Henson and Penelope Cruz (Vicky Cristina Barcelona).
The late Heath Ledger picked up another posthumous nomination for The Dark Knight in supporting actor. Other nominees are Hoffman, Josh Brolin (Milk), Robert Downey Jr. (Tropic Thunder) and Slumdog Millionaire's Dev Patel.

The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be presented Sunday, Jan. 25.
