Breaking Bad, Big Bang Top SAG Awards Nominations

Breaking Bad, The Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock and Modern Family led Wednesday's Screen Actors Guild Award nominations with three each, while Netflix made a splash with Arrested Development and House of Cards.

Breaking Bad, which also got a stunt nomination, will be up against two-time champ Boardwalk Empire, defending champ Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones and Homeland for the drama ensemble award.

Bryan Cranston will go for a repeat in drama actor against Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) and Kevin Spacey (House of Cards).

Anna Gunn, who won in the supporting category at the Emmys for Breaking Bad, broke through in the drama actress race (there are no supporting categories for TV at the SAGs). She's up against reigning champ Claire Danes (Homeland), Jessica Lange (American Horror Story: Coven), Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey) and Kerry Washington (Scandal).

25 totally unnecessary spin-offs

Big Bang, which earned acting nods for Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, Modern Family and Arrested will contend against 30 Rock and Veep for comedy ensemble honors.
