Virginia travels with her daughter Rebeca on the road, fleeing to the countryside due to a dispute with her ex-husband over the custody of the little girl. After an encounter with a mysterious but helpful man, Virginia finds that Rebeca has been kidnapped at a gas station. In her desperation, a terrible car accident that should have claimed her life happens, but she is given chance to live one day more to save her daughter. Virginia, aided by the mysterious man she previously met, finds other women in the same situation: Ángela, whose daughter was also kidnapped, and Patricia, a Catholic teacher on a mission whose student went missing at the same gas station in which Rebecca disappeared. As she finds that the children are being held captive in an isolated village by a satanic cult, preparing them for a sacrifice, Rebecca will find out that there are worse fates than death.
