When a husband-and-wife team of explorers become lost, their four children are left to the man's brother (Carroll) and the woman's sister (Bruce). Whichever marries first will retain full custody. Carroll is a wild American playboy while Bruce is a proper English entomologist. Of course

they dislike each other and he's got his eye on a little blonde anyway. But wouldn't you know it? In typical contrived movie plotting the two opposites fall in love and adopt the children together when they marry one another. There's nothing the least bit surprising in the script or dialog in this

thoroughly contrived plot. The ensemble does what it can, though talents are clearly blocked by the material. The direction is straightforward, which helps, but not much.
