After supporting his stepmother's euthanasia, Marcelo attempts suicide by taking an overdose of anxiolytics. Resuscitated in the ICU of a hospital, he undergoes and survives medical treatments. During this period he experiences ecmnesia, that is, the fortuitous and anachronistic re-living of his recent and past memories.
