He is jobless. His relationship is falling apart. His film career is going nowhere. So, when an UK-based production company is looking to outsource production of its web series about haunted places around the globe, Khadir decides to offer his services. After all, what does he have to lose? His five-year relationship with his girlfriend Eisha is already hanging on by a thread and it's hard for him to imagine his career as an amateur director getting any worse. After promising to produce the web series on an exceptionally tight budget, the production company's CEOs, Alexandra and Jack, decide to give Khadir the shot he's been wishing for. Khadir assembles his team, a motley crew of struggling actors and crew members who, like Khadir, are getting paid pennies for their craft and they set off on a road trip to document various hauntings across India. As the shoot carries on, Khadir and Eisha become more and more distant, not only by miles but also emotionally. Khadir's professional life becomes all-consuming and he will stop at nothing to impress Alexandra and Jack by delivering a finished product on-time and within the budget. He's obsessed with gaining the approval of the CEOs, is ignoring Eisha's calls and is spiraling deeper and deeper into a panic about finishing the project. After capturing footage of a number of places, the group reaches their final destination, an abandoned fort in Madhya Pradesh. Khadir is beginning to feel some relief. Maybe everything will work out for him this time. But he will soon learn that the fort and all the history held within its walls, has other plans. The fort is plagued with rumors of a violent history based on superstitious beliefs and human sacrifice, making it the perfect place to capture footage that will surely impress Alexandra and Jack. When Khadir and his team arrive, they are met with much more than they bargained for. The spirits that occupy the fort's dark and cavernous rooms quickly begin to play a dire game of cat and mouse with the cast and crew. One by one, the cast and crew members are hunted and fall prey to the supernatural as they attempt to film their first-hand accounts of the horrors they endure. As the night goes on, Khadir begins to see his career, his future and his life slipping away. Will the story of what has happened in the hallowed walls of the fort ever be told? Will anyone make it out alive? Or, will all of Khadir's worst nightmares come true?
