The Beastmaster
Dar, the son of a king, is hunted by a priest after his birth, but his new adoptive father rescues him from a cult ritual and taken to be raised in a humble village, where he learns that he has the ability to communicate with animals. Years later when he's all grown up, the priest's followers murder his adoptive father and other villagers, and Dar begins his quest for revenge, befriending several animals along the way.
