Sunburn Reviews

Private eye Grodin hires New York model Fawcett to pose as his wife while he investigates the murder of a wealthy industrialist down in sunny Acapulco. Fawcett is given little to do other than get a suntan and try to look captivating, leaving the comic chores up to seasoned professionals Grodin and Carney, who are just great. Carney plays the local sleazy detective. Fawcett's name appears in the on-screen credits as Fawcett-Majors, but before the film's release she had former spouse Lee Majors' name expunged from the press material and advertisements. Various popular tunes play from a tape recorder during the course of the film, including "You Bet Your Love" (Herbie Hancock, Rubinson, Willis, Cohen, performed by Hancock).
