After Jagger is wrongly accused of a crime, he heads for the hills with his son, Murphy. The two hole up in a secret lair, but are eventually proven innocent when Hendrix, Jagger's lawyer (and at one time off-screen wife), stumbles onto the hideout. She discloses that a member of the posse chasing Jagger confessed before he died. Despite some nice color photography, this routine western was lowered several notches thanks to the flat direction and endless string of cliches. Murphy's portrayal is uninspired. Watch for Curtis (then known as Anthony) in a minor role. A remake of FORBIDDEN VALLEY (1938).
