Slowly going insane, a mountain hiker awakens in a spot and doesn't know where he is or how he got there. His world is changing right in front of him and he knows he isn't alone. Something is following him as he tries to make sense of what is happening. As soon as he realizes he is lost and feeling desperate he awakens again in yet another season of the year and opens his eyes to a person who offers help in this mad world. Damian knows the way around and explains to the hiker that this world is full of Reapers and many other evil things who want to take his soul so they themselves can survive. He offers his help in exchange to get Damian back to his own time. This starts an adventure the simple mountain hiker didn't ask for. With the help of the portal transporter Damian gives him that opens doors in this world to travel in-between the seasons the hiker tries to get back to his own time but not till he comes up against dark forces and does battle with his own demons.
