Julie (Meg Tilly) is a sweet girl desperate to be accepted by her peers, a rather tough and nasty bunch. One of them, Carol (Robin Evans), was jilted by Julie's present boy friend, so she is anxious to make it as tough on Julie as possible. The final test Julie must pass to gain

acceptance is to spend the night in a mausoleum, where Carol plans to scare the girl out of her wits. The mausoleum mayhem really begins, however, when a dead man with telekinetic powers uses his skills to drain the energies of the pranksters. The direction by Tom McLouglin manages to develop a

fair amount of tension, the cast is better than average, and the special makeup effects by Tom Burman and company are above average.
