An independently produced psychological thriller directed by Karen Arthur (THE MAFU CAGE) which was dumped unceremoniously onto the market for a one-week run in a small number of theaters prior to release on home video. The plot centers around Katya Yarno (Diane Lane), a much-touted

department store window dresser known for her rather kinky arrangements of mannequins. She lands a job with a big Pittsburgh store and her displays catch the attention of Jack Price, a demented X-ray technician (Michael Woods) who decides that the woman responsible for such designs must be

sexually repressed. A husband and a father, Price begins a campaign of psychological rape that includes leaving lewd messages on Katya's answering machine, pilfering her mail, indulging in some Peeping Tomism, breaking into her apartment, playing with her lingerie, and leaving messages in blood on

her bathroom mirror. At first Katya is frightened by the intrusions, but once she figures out who the culprit is, she gets back at him by employing the same tactics he used on her. Director Arthur, who struggled for eight years to get this film funded, claimed that her right to final cut was

revoked by the producers and that they trashed her version and released what she describes as a more exploitative cut.(Extensive nudity, profanity, adult situations.)
