A slow-moving drama about a political extremist, Kanner, who takes over a radio station at gunpoint. Before long the talk show host is taking telephone calls and staging a phone-in "trial." The premise may sound interesting, but it doesn't never reaches below the surface. Stuck on the shelf for some time, KINGS AND DESPERATE MEN reunited former "Prisoner" TV stars McGoohan and Kanner. Trudeau, the jet-set ex-wife of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, also makes an appearance.
