Julie and Callum are childhood sweethearts, planning their future together after sixth form. When it is revealed that Jules has received a sports scholarship in America, Callum is upset with the fact that he was kept in the dark. With their colliding ambitions mixed with the burden of first love, the couple face a life-altering dilemma: stay together or follow their dreams. Feeling the trust is broken and struggling to effectively communicate their feelings, the couple split the day before the graduation dance. Unable to stay apart, they meet again at the dance, reconciling, choosing to spend this moment together whilst they still have it.
