Highly Dangerous Reviews

A lame little British espionage thriller that takes place in a mythical Balkan country. Lockwood is a female entomologist who is sent by the British general staff to investigate bacteriological warfare tests being done in the little country. She has many problems from her first encounter with the local chief of police, whom she meets on the train, when he sees her microscope and other equipment in her bag. Her contact is killed, and the body winds up in her hotel room. As a result, she is given the third degree and a truth serum in an effort to discover what she knows of the murder. Eventually she is released and teams up with American press agent Clark, who helps her to steal some disease-carrying insects. This adventure takes place while she is stoned on truth serum, and she believes herself to be the heroine of a popular English radio serial.
