Hi, Buddy Reviews

When an East Side boy's club is in dire financial straits, it sets out to find someone to stage a fundraiser. Paige arranges to aid the club, but when his manager dips into the funds, soldier Foran comes to the rescue. The story is just an excuse to stage the following tunes: "Hi, Buddy," "We're in the Marines," "Mr. Yankee Doodle" (Everett Carter, Milton Rosen), "We're in the Navy" (Don Ray, Gene DePaul), "Here's to Tomorrow" (Charles Newman, Lew Pollack), "Take Me in Your Arms" (Mitchell Parish, Fritz Rotter, Fred Markush), "Stardust" (Hoagy Carmichael, Parish), "Old Folks at Home," "De Camptown Races" (Stephen Foster).
