Fandango Reviews

College frat brothers are celebrating graduation with a drunken bash. Judd Nelson, a whiny, bespectacled ROTC student, reluctantly agrees to join some of his pals, who dub themselves the "Groovers," on a quest through the Texas countryside. The group drives through the barren Texas countryside, heading toward a rock where they have buried their friend "Dom." This coming-of-age film unfortunately never gels, leaping from one set piece to another with only a few simplistic themes linking scenes together. The characters are a stock bundle of cliches and stereotypes. Since FANDANGO never has anything to say about its well-worn themes, the film quickly becomes boring and predictable.
