Fancy Pants Reviews

An occasionally sidesplitting Hope-Ball comedy which has Hope cast as a fake British lord. Ball is introduced to him in England and invites him back to her New Mexico home. Once in the Southwest, he continues putting on the false airs, fooling even the visiting Teddy Roosevelt. The expected occurs when Ball's jealous beau unfurls the disguise. A remake of Leo McCarey's RUGGLES OF RED GAP (1935). Includes the songs "Fancy Pants" and "Home Cookin'."
