Eddy reluctantly goes on a couple's beach retreat after his husband Vince cheats on him. Before long, he notices some things are off about this place. He eventually discovers that the vacation is a simulation that Vince forcibly brought him into via sedation and VR technology. Despite this betrayal, Eddy decides to stay with Vince. Because to Eddy, settling into an unhappy marriage is ultimately less scary than ending up alone.
