"Confidential" is the result of the desire to confront the theme of sensuality with issues connected with the notion of uncanny, voyeurism and loss of private space. The video camera behaves as an invasive eye able to plunge the spectator into the uncomfortable position of observer and observed.The photography, where a certain overexposure is highly perceivable, the restriction imposed to the field of vision,itself minimized to a narrow "letterbox", and the choice to edit the whole scene focusing on secondary details, concur to build the unpleasant feelings of something happening off-screen, where the spectators' participation is excluded.
